Blue Line Property Services owner Scott Clemens is a lifelong resident of Charlotte County, Florida. His family moved to the Englewood area when he was just a young teenager. While growing up in Englewood, Scott spent most of his free time on the water fishing/boating around the Lemon Bay and Boca Grande areas. While attending school at Lemon Bay, Scott met his (high school sweetheart) current wife of 33 years. Immediately after graduating, Scott got his feet wet in Law Enforcement where he began his career as a Correctional Officer at the Charlotte Correctional Institution.
He worked there until age 21, and then was hired as a Patrol Deputy with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office. Scott now holds the rank of Lieutenant, and is currently over the Special Investigations/Narcotics Unit and Dive Team. During his tenure with the Sheriff’s Office, Scott has held many positions. Primarily, he has been a line supervisor and manager, overseeing Road Patrol, Marine, Narcotics, Internal Affairs, SWAT (Team Leader), Intelligence Commander, Special Investigations Commander, as well as currently being the Dive Team Commander.
In addition to Law Enforcement, Scott followed his passion for the water early in his career and obtained his Captains License. He started “Off Duty Charters” and has continued to share his skills and knowledge in both fishing and diving as a part-time captain through-out his Law Enforcement Career.
Scott and his wife, Tammy, have raised their family here in the Englewood area of Charlotte County. Tammy is no stranger to the locals either, as she’s going on her 32nd year at the original Gelder, Forster, and Davis dental office in Englewood.
She practiced as a Dental Hygienist for many years, but is currently the practice administrator. Scott and Tammy’s three daughters all live and work in the Englewood/Charlotte County area. Baleigh, the oldest, is married to her high school sweetheart as well. Both her and her husband work for their family construction business “Turn Key Custom Homes”. Brooke and Brynn both represent Farlow’s on the Water, Brooke as a General Manager and Brynn as an executive assistant training in management as well.
Scott’s knowledge, personal connections, and commitment to the community are an asset to the clients of Blue Line Property Services. We are a registered, bonded, insured, and accredited company. Scott plans to grow the business, while continuing to provide knowledge and protection to the residents of Charlotte County. Every year when our seasonal residents arrive in Charlotte County for the winter, the Sheriff’s Office is called because their homes were burglarized, vandalized, received storm damage, had a water leak, or sometimes even have squatters. As a home watch and property service company, we have the ability to keep a watchful eye on your property, giving you the peace of mind you deserve!
